Engage with the mysterious of life with the newly released A Blue Period

The Tragedy

As blue skies mock the smiling of the sun

And wait for the blue moon to have his fun,

My mind’s empire seems to set blue colors

In imitation of an ocean’s valor

That rages against the blues of themselves

To see which blue could top the better self.

And in this blue, that evens Neptune’s reigns

When took Telemachus father to pains,

I seem not to wrestle out this blue will

Against the god that prescribed this blue pill,

Leading me ends to this blue tragedy

That leaves me blue without the ecstasy;

And I worry if these blues are my mind

I won’t find other colors to suit the kind.

I, Tartuffe

I, Tartuffe, am a man of Narcissus,

And am no fool to our own precipice:

Steeped & balance of our own love for none

With all loves considered under the sun.

I tell my heart, yet my heart tells another,

Though mine heart doubts to question on a lover

Since the love may be other than mine own

That’s well with love that grass & flowers hone;

I have nat’ral face & hold up a glass

To bring to health all that may drink alas;

I love, & toast by it to love no love

And allow what may that permits above;

I am Tartuffe, though I’m not what I am:

For I love the sheep to speak as a lamb.
